When you’re ready to head back to Te Anau, head over to the heli pickup point. Here, you’ll undergo a safety briefing before boarding the helicopter.

Pre-takeoff

Time to get in the heli. Your pilot and ground crew will ensure that you are comfortable, buckled in, and have your headset on and ready to go.

Lift-off

The heli takes off, and you’re airborne. Take in the stunning sights of Fiordland as your pilot weaves towards Te Anau, sharing the stories and history of the region as you fly.

Remote landing

Your pilot chooses a secluded spot amongst the peaks to land. They’ll let you out into a remote location, where you’ll be immersed in nature’s incredible views. Be sure to snap some photos.

Back to the helicopter

Loaded back in the helicopter, you’ll again fly high above stunning Fiordland views until you touch down at Te Anau.

Or, you can do that all in reverse. Get a heli pick-up from Te Anau, and we’ll fly you out to Milford Sound with a remote landing along the way. We can also help you organise return transport from there.
