Your Fiordland trip begins with a spectacular helicopter flight, taking in the incredible views of Lake Manapouri, Mount Titiroa and the expansive Fiordland mountains. From there, you’ll arrive at Brunel Peaks Cafe and Bar in style, touching ground right outside the front door. Sit back, relax and relish the delicious food and coffee surrounded by dreamy rural farming landscapes - maybe even try the famous Southland cheese roll. After your lunch, fly back over Blackmount Hill and Lake Manapouri before touching down in Te Anau to end your Fiordland trip.

Arrive at Te Anau

Arrive at the Te Anau Airport [42 Aviation Drive] 15 minutes before your flight takes place.

Pre-flight orientation & safety briefing

Complete a passenger information form if required, then relax and enjoy the stunning views while your pilot readies the aircraft. You will undergo your safety briefing before boarding the helicopter.

Pre-takeoff

Time to get in the heli. Your pilot and ground crew will ensure that you are comfortable, buckled in, and have your headset on and ready to go.

Lift-off

The heli takes off, and you’re airborne. Take in the sights of the beautiful Lake Manapouri and Mount Titiroa as your pilot flies over Fiordland, sharing the stories and history of the region as you fly.

Lunch with a view

Your heli will drop you right outside Brunel Peaks Cafe and Bar. Find a sunny spot to sit back, relax and enjoy the delicious food and coffee while soaking up the rural farming landscapes surrounding you.

Back to the helicopter

After lunch, it’s back to the heli. You’ll fly home over Blackmount Hill and Lake Manapouri before touching back down in Te Anau.
