The Kepler heli hike is truly something special. Exploring one of New Zealand’s Great Walks, this is your chance to experience both the views from the heli and the views from part of Te Anau’s Kepler Track itself. Departing from Te Anau, you’ll start your day with an incredible scenic flight over Lake Manapouri and the spectacular Fiordland Mountains. We’ll drop you to Mount Luxmore, part way up the Kepler Track, where you’ll be surrounded by epic views the whole way back over unique and fragile wetlands. Why not bring a picnic lunch to enjoy the view a little longer?

Towards the end of the walk, you’ve got a few options. We can organise to pick you up from the Kepler Track car park near the control gates (either before or after your journey, depending on where you’d like to leave your car). You can also take the lakeside walking track back to Te Anau township if you feel like stretching your legs a little further. Or, if you’d rather boat than walk, we can help you organise a water taxi from Brod Bay back to the main wharf in Te Anau.
