From Queens Reach in Lake Manapouri, you’ll swap the boat for a helicopter with a scenic flight over Fiordland. A remote landing in a picturesque location means you can truly immerse yourself in those epic views.
Back in the heli, your next destination is the luxurious Fiordland Lodge, where you’ll sit back, relax, and enjoy a gourmet lunch. Then it’s time for the next adventure: glowworms. Take a boat across Lake Te Anau to visit the breathtaking glowworm caves, and be amazed at this spectacular hidden world. Back in Te Anau, pop across the road to the local bar and finish your Fiordland tour with a complimentary drink in the sun.

Arrive at Fiordland Jet [84 Lakefront Drive] 15 minutes before your jet boat ride.

Your jet boat awaits

Take a thrilling ride down the bends of the Waiau River in a jet boat, eventually emerging onto the beautiful Lake Manapouri and getting back on dry land at Queens Reach.

Pre-takeoff

From Queens Reach, you’ll undergo a safety briefing before boarding the heli, and then it’s time to go. Your pilot and ground crew will ensure you are comfortable, buckled in, and have your headset on and ready to go.

Lift-off and remote landing

Make your way over the Te Anau township towards your lunch destination: the luxurious Fiordland Lodge. Enjoy a delicious, gourmet meal and bask in the incredible views from the lodge.

 

Glowworm caves

After lunch, it’s time for the glowworm caves. After a pick-up from the lodge, you’ll take a boat across the lake to explore the dazzling Real NZ glowworm caves. These caves are bound to be a highlight, as you experience the ethereal world the glowworms have created.

And, relax

Finally, after a boat ride back to the Te Anau lakefront, head across the road to the local bar and restaurant, The Moose, to enjoy a complimentary drink in the sun to wrap up your experience.
